I have a 2007 Denali and my driver side panel came off in the car wash, the dealership wants $250 for a new one and I can’t find it on eBay, any ideas?

If you still have it you can reapply it with 3M trim tape. If it needs paint it’s probably cheaper to paint yours. Otherwise the boneyard is your best bet. If you find a rig your color grab any other goodies you may need.

First: Welcome to the forum from Oregon

Second: That must be some pressure or hella crazy brush for that panel to come off. Plus it was damaged enough that could not be reattached?

Those are installed with high bond tape and hard to remove without bending them, probably why you can’t find one on EBay. @drakon543 how did you remove those at the boneyard without wrecking them?

They show up on Ebay and Amazon for about $125 each for plain black ones. If you have your old one, just clean it up and use new tape. You can buy ACDelco black paint and some Duplicolor Clear to rehab your old one or a replacement.

its a wrecking yard nobody gives a crap so i just bring a long thing blade and cut it off the truck. you could probably use a similar technique used to cut free a windshield. anyway its pretty strong adhesive so it takes a couple passes to cut an edge free.
