We just became the proud owners of a 2011 Tahoe, LTZ, black with ebony int., tow pkg, and chrome wheels.

We had owned 3 Trailblazers prior to this, and my wife really liked them, but wasn't impressed with the Traverse, or anything else in the replacement class.

I just started looking a couple of days before Christmas, and our dealer located one with the options we wanted, and we took delivery on 12/31/2011.

I'm more into Camaros myself, but we are really enjoying this ride, for the first week that we've had it. This might be the first vehicle that we will keep OnStar subscription. We've already used it a couple of times for routing destinations, and my wife has it set up so she can remote start it with her I-Phone.

We paid for the brushed aluminum trim, to get rid of the burlwood. (we never had a taste for any wood trim on a vehicle.) Got the color-matched mud guards & hood protector dealer installed. Already switched the interior lighting and backup lights to LED's.

Probably all we're gonna do for now, except drive and enjoy it. I'm getting the itch to start modding the 2010 Camaro, so the funding for toys will be directed towards that.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure I'll be hanging around here for advice.

Yeah, I don't know why I didn't think of pictures.

It seems to have acquired a spot in the shop. It's farther from the house, but the unattached garage isn't heated

Here's one of the toys......

I'm wanting to lower it, and upgrade the suspension bushings & sway bars. A dovetail spoiler is also in the plans.

and the oldest brother.......

And then there's the "work" cars.......

Both 2002's. The Z/28 on the left was my DD for 4 years, and now has 241,*** miles on it. Still in very good shape. The SS was found last summer with only 18,000 miles, and got the same stripe, exhaust, and the wheels & tires off of the Z.

Only difference is the SS vs. Z/28, and the SS is a hardtop, which I really prefer over the t-tops in the Z. Both are M6 & ebony leather interior. Most people don't even know I got a different car.

I tried to sell the old one, but didn't get an offer for what it's worth to me. Then I saw a pewter '98 at a cruise night, that had been tubbed & caged, so now it's sitting in storage, awaiting the day that I can make it into my "mule!!"
