Update: ok it’s taken a year… but actively working on it about 9months.. finished off the exhaust( was NOT a straight bolt on affair)... -

Are you sure the dimmer switch isn't engaged? If it is dialed/scrolled all the way up, the dome lights will stay on constantly.

That's the typical mileage you get with those ones even when new.
