Mass Backing is a must. I even through 80Mil Sound Deadener on my floor of the C10. Granted shes not a quiet truck but it did help alot...

I did mass backing on both. It cuts down on noise.

I’ve used Stock Interiors as well as ACC Carpets and they’re both the same, and both made in USA. They use actual floor pans removed...

your fine, just do not do it in 4lo and keep it straight, 1/4 mile is pretty short regardless
