Also, it just so coincidentally happens that a suburban came in with the same damn near issue. Now I know I need to see what the tuner turned off within the log. Cause for some reason never seeing a misfire and having a plug like that. Ain’t no got damn way that ***** didn’t wanna report a...

I believe the pieces have either already came to pass, or I’m going to find them possible melted to the piston so when I borescope I’ll let you know and no it does not burn oil at all. Checked oil recently cause I was curious if it was low or something just as precaution I like to double check...

So I believe it may be in the tune for the issue with the plug as I did tell the tuner it seemed to lean out under load at about 2500rpm. I did get the flex fuel pressure regulator, the injectors are the multitec 2 style connectors. I do need to double check the ones I swapped in are Flexfuel...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Definitely worth the upgrade, I did the same one and used just stock rotors and calipers from the 07. Definitely improves stopping force and distance

Yes I meant the electrode and the porcelain. I had the injector code prior to replacing the injectors. Tested each connector with noid light all were pulsing. So I went with the injectors. But after when it still seemed to start stumbling under load I decided drive a while with a fuel pressure...

I actually just had a spare engine sitting around when my original was gonna get rebuilt so I decided to just swap them out and use the one getting rebuilt for a Monte Carlo build. So the engine is 6k miles in now. Which is why I was stating it ran great prior, but I understand heavier vehicle...

My fuel trims which I logged on go tuners were reading as rich prior to replacing the injectors as the ones I had were reaching the end of their capabilities and 2 were over fueling. The fuel pump is maybe 6-7k miles old

Ok lots of great replies. The truck is tuned for the cam, it’s only a stage 1 cam so modification of injectors wasn’t necessarily required. But I dis do some springs in the heads to help ease valvetrain. It used to run very great, hot off the line and steady through all gears it would pull...

First time in the forum, not necessarily my first time tryna get information for a vehicle and poke at the brains of individuals that love these trucks. I have an 02 Tahoe 5.3 Flex fuel, 11:1 comp, BTR Cam, Summit Rebuilt 4l60E 4x4 Lifted on 33's, swapped to 07 calipers. I have a current...
