Another diagram that appears to show it near the rear door opening... But still driver's side rear quarterpanel...

It's on the D-Pillar below the speaker, it is called the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver, just like in the diagrams.

if memory serves me correctly it should be on the drivers rear pillar behind the cover, to get to it you have to take the rear hatch...
