    a few other pointers i had to get crafty with long needle nose pliers to get the nuts started inside where the tow hooks were then i used a combo of wrenches and sockets to get it tight. also remember to mark before drilling and it helps if someone can hold it while you check to make sure it...

    i got the winch mount from a local truck accessory place here in town did not see much info on winch mounts on tahoes.the part # is westin 46-22275. i think i payed 250$ for it. i did not have to remove the whole bumper but some may have to i was able to get all the bolts out and gave me enough...

    i had the same issue. what i thought was an engine mount (It was Bad or looked bad dry rotted) but after replacing a lot of parts i found that it was a bad strut and bad sway bar end links (even though i had replaced them). i could also feel as well as hear it

    update i impacted the crap out of the top strut bolts and took it for a spin without the sway bar in line it seemed fine i did hear still some up and down metal to metal sounds but not as concerned about that but from a stop sign on take off i do not hear it i then came back put the sway bar...

    i am getting that way where its almost like its not worth fooling with because almost everything has been replaced.mine is comming from the passenger side in under motor or that side of suspension it just annoying because it makes you think something is about to fall off

    its looking that way i did try pulling the entire sway bar out and i still hear it so its gotta be like you said control arm bushing or ball joint. i am going to pull the bottom control arm up with a jack and double check that the top bolts are tight holding the strut maybe my dumb self did not...

    if it makes any difference i did hear a slight bump when in my driveway on gravel while driving more of an up and down type bump
