Sounds a bit like the starter isn't quite disengaging.

Installed new tensioner and idler and reinstalled belt. All good. No abnormal noises.

take the oil fill cap off see if its gone, if it is, the pcv valve is clogged solid and the noise is the engine actually sucking air in...

The ones in my 2012 didn't have any thread locker on them from the factory. They all came out easily, thankfully.
