Rebuilding a 2001 Yukon XL 2500HD with barn boors.
So far:
- Painted artic white with House of Colors Pearl
- New Escalade style dash cluster with carbon fiber dials
- Pacesetter long tube headers, Flowmaster mufflers, dual exhaust with nice shiny stainless tips welded on.
- Cat and EGR delete, custom tune using HP Tuners
- Rebuilt 4L80e
- New aluminum cooling,brakes, a-arms and all things rubber
- 2005 Escalade steering column with steering wheel controls.
- 2005 Escalade dash, A/C, front interior, console and door panels
- 2005 Escalade 9-way heated, leather, memory seats
- Real carbon fiber trim replaced the Faux wood.
- Custom Double topped stitched Rustic Leather trim
- Custom leather A, B, C, D pillar trim with Carbon Fiber accents
- LED lighting everywhere, even inside modules - Whew!
- Pioneer Avic 8100Nex navigation head unit
- 2005 Escalade roof mounted rear DVD drop down monitor
- 2000 watts JL Audio amps
- Alpine PXA-H800 Imprint - true Dolby 5.1 surround sound decoder
- (2) Focal 4" coax dash mounted center channel speakers
- (4) Focal 30th anniversary carbon fiber 6.5" woofer w/ 1" tweeter
- (2) Focal 3" Coax for D-Pillar
- (2) 12" JL Audio 12W6v2 - Dual voice coil subs in sealed box
- 10" JL Audio 10W1v3 sub in the stock location because it was there.
- New 250 Amp alternator and the BIG 3 done with 0 Gauge throughout.
- 10 Farad power capacitor
I like my music crisp and clear.
Stuff to do:
- Replace carper and headliner.
- Re-wire stereo, hide all amps, caps, etc. - Possible custom couch in the back.
- Replace body mounts.
- Install new motor and transmission mounts.
- Sand, sand, sand and sand some more on the carbon fiber trim yet to be top coated, polished and installed.
