Hello all. A couple of days ago I bought a really nice looking, very high mile (251k lol ) 2015 Tahoe LTZ. I don't mind the high mileage because I got a killer deal on it ($8k). So even if I have to rebuild the motor and transmission, I'll still feel good about it lmao.

I still have the popular "Lifted Tahoe" – 2002 Tahoe LT you might have seen on YouTube.

And here's the build thread for that Tahoe.

I haven't even gotten the plates for my new Tahoe yet and I've already ordered several mods. I'll post about those next.

First I'm dropping it off at the shop and having them go through everything from top to bottom. I told them I want it running like new.

Next it's going to the paint shop. We're sticking with black but I told them I want a tuxedo black with a deep shine.

The leather on the front seats is somehow in great shape, but due to the high mileage, the cushion and power mechanism on the driver's side is pretty worn, so I bought two replacement seats out of a low mileage 2019 Denali. They're currently en route.

Next, for some reason, I'm unable to connect to bluetooth on the stock media system, so I bought a Tesla style tablet replacement headunit from AUCarAuto. Kinda feels like I'm rolling the dice with this one lol.

Ordered yesterday, they asked me to send a picture of my dashboard today to verify fitment and compatibility. That's a good sign.

Impressive build on that first one! Do you still have it?

Those Morimoto headlights look tight!
Yep! Still have the 2002 Tahoe with a list of mods already purchased.. but I moved out of that house and got an apartment in Buenos Aires, Argentina, so I haven't been able to install any of them. :(

Anzo also makes an LED headlight that's pretty dope. I'm having trouble deciding which I like better. I think I like the DRL of the Morimoto better, but the projector lights of the Anzo better. What do you guys think?

Having made my own custom Morimoto headlights in the past I can say that I'm pleased with their headlights for my 2015 Yukon. The housing feels cheap on the back side but the performance is there. I got my set open box on ebay for 1100'ish instead of full price but the box was clearly brand new and never opened. The cutoff is nice and sharp and they were easily aimed. I'd personally prefer if they weren't as dark as they are but it matches their tail lights.
