Side latch center console replacement

I have a 05 yukon denali with a center console that has the button to open on the side like the following. I need a replacement but the only ones I can find online are consoles that open front to back. I don't care which way it opens, but are those compatible with the oem style I have?

Maybe try eBay or a salvage yard. You will probably have to buy the whole console lid just to get the button.

Yeah I need the whole console lid, that's what I'm looking for a replacement but can only find the ones that open front to back.

That one may be a little rare, I wonder if you could pinpoint the year and model that lid came in. It may help your search, there are two main truck forums and you could try listing under parts wanted or a new thread with that specific year and model the console lid was offered in. Good luck with your search, no possible way to repair the button. I know @Doubeleive visits the salvage yards quite often and he may have some suggestions.

You could always just get a non-denali lid and either have it reupholstered to match or just enjoy having a tray on top of the lid, maybe even install a wireless charger on it?
