Had a caliper bracket bolt back out on me luckily when I pulled over the bolt was just barely hanging on but was still there thank god! Kinda fcked up my new pads but oh well I need to do a 2021 brake conversion anyways in the near future

I give that caliper bolt an extra ugga dugga because I guess the last one weren’t good enough! I also threw some thread tape which was all I had at the time to maybe help it from backing out again I know Jerry rig but Jerry rigging is my specialty

Thankfully nobody was ahead of me when it happened I had made it 2 hr or so out and was only 30-40 min from the house when I went to stop at a red light and the pedal went to the fcking floor! Nothing hardly at all! I down shifted her and got her slowed down enough to where I could pull over in the bank parking lot to fix it
I swear it’s ALWAYS something

Got the rear end built
Tru trac posi with 4.56s new bearings and seals and new silver diff cover
Got some coil overs from @randeez i threw on there
I also redid the headlights luckily the halo I thought was burned out isn’t it was just the switchback driver that went bad and another one has a loose connector I may swap the plugs on it for a toggle style male and female wire connector for a tighter connection and see if that fix’s it.
I still need to get the demon eyes in the projector hooked back up
Haven’t done much besides that stuff
I did do a rear diff fluid change after the break in period was over and a much needed oil change but that’s about itView attachment 436727View attachment 436728View attachment 436729View attachment 436730View attachment 436731
how she ride on those coil overs?
for me they were a little firm but wanting to still drive 85-90mph in a lifted truck and not be all over the road had to compromise

Honestly not that bad they ain’t as bad as what the icons were I still need to get those rear fox shocks from you also though and ditch the mcgaughys shocks that’ll help out a lot hold em for another month or so and I’ll be caught up hopefully where I can get em off you! Ride is good I still need to dial the alignment though so steering is still a lil wacky but it’s good enough to drive for now… gotta get this overtime so I can go get her on the rack again… I need to find a buddy with some stocks also so she actually fits on the rack smh she’s too damn wide

Outstanding work… great looking truck, Trey!
Thank you buddy I still got a long way to go with this truck I’ve just been trying to fix the broken shit right now so it’s dependable enough for traveling back and fourth to work once’s she’s good I’ll start on my Tahoe again and once she’s dialed in I’ll park the truck and strip the suspension to have it powder coated I’m wanting to go with a color scheme like this fellas from cali
Copper with a candy teal with billet inlays on the lift compression struts and traction bars

Did have the interior trim pieces painted it came out killer! But I seen one Silverado with that machine gun style (rob dyrdeks) wrap on it that looked pretty bad ass I may change it up once the paint gets beat up over time1725205315248.jpeg
