Took the new to us LTZ out on the trails for the first time. Currently bone stock with 20s. I did trim the airdam down. Gotta say I was very impressed.

Most of the roads were dirt track and double track but we did tackle a steep off camber rock covered climb that it dispatched with no issues.

We also hit a dead end on one road and had to perform a 3 point turn around up a steep embankment. Very annoying having the parking sensors flashing and vibrating because of the angles of approach but the tight turn radius and 4wd made the maneuver a snap.

We then descended back down that steep Rock section (always more challenging) and cruised home.

A very successful first run that shook off my worries of "needing a lift" for this vehicle to perform well.

Lifts are really only “needed” when you are needing more articulation. I’m not going to sit here and tell you I’m a god of the offroad scene (lol) but tread carefully (pun intended) running on 20s. I have 18s on my truck from the factory that give some nice side wall but really those are too big IMO to tackle anything difficult.

Glad you had fun and stayed safe! That’s the important part!
