So, when i first bought my 2022 Tahoe Premier, it had adaptive cruise control. I then took it in for a "software upgrade" that was required to be done at the dealership. After that, my adaptive cruise no longer worked. I found this odd but Chevy told me I never had it, but i did.

I am now being told i need to bring my Tahoe in for another software upgrade that has to be done at the dealer. Anybody had this done and did you lose any functionality?

If they are telling you that you don't have it, you can always pull up your RPO codes (see attachment) and look for "KSG" which is the RPO Code:
KSG
  • Adaptive Cruise Control - Advanced
  • Adaptive Cruise Control - Camera
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Cruise control, adaptive, full range
  • Cruise control, adaptive, full-speed range
  • CRUISE CONTROL AUTOMATIC, ADAPTIVE WITH STOP/GO

If it''s there, tell them to fix it!

Are you sure it just isn't disabled? I think if you hold down the button to cancel cruise, it will toggle between adaptive cruise and regular cruise

I agree with what Klinebau is saying. That's the way it works on my 2024.

One odd thing I have experienced ........ The Adaptive Cruise will disengage? It tells me that on the screen. I can of course reengage it but why it disengages on it's own baffles me. It has only done it twice ..... so far.

Mine has done this a few times...usually when a big ole bug splats on the radar receiver or on the camera behind the rear view mirror.
