No codes, loss of acceleration, speedometer bounces

Good Morning everyone,

I am new to the forum and would greatly appreciate some help. I just drove from AZ to TX (890 miles) yesterday and the last 10 miles, I was at 75mph and loss of acceleration, speedo was bouncing but no codes. Stopped for a second, then did it again. Pulled over, turned engine off and restarted. No more problems the last 10 miles. Video of problem but can't share, please help. '09 Tahoe 5.3 LS 4WD

What was the tach doing at the time?

Bouncing between 3k-3800/4k
Speedo would do the same, about 25-30mph

Oil, amp, fuel, temp stayed the same

Monitor crank position sensor on live scan. Carry a spare.

And perhaps before replacing it (and certainly after) do a CASE relearn with a scan tool.

seems like these threads usually end up being ground.

I know it's not eazy to find them all, clean and repair. one guy found a year later the ground wire about 2in back into the harness had corroded away.
