I have searched threads about proper tire sizes for a more aggressive look without a leveling kit or lift on my 2022 Yukon AT4. I love Toyo Open Country AT III and have had several sets on my F-250 and former Ford Expedition. I am look at either a 285/55R20 or a 285/60R20. The is a significant price difference between 285/55R20 (114T) and the the 285/55R20 (122/119T E/10). I run the E rated tires on my F-250 I think. The 114T tires are rated for 2601 Lbs and the E/10 tires are rated at 80PSI and 3300Lbs. Can y'all give me your thoughts on the 114T price of $1237 versus the 122/119T E/10 at $1740? Do I really need the 3300 lbs rating? Compared to my truck, I really don't think I need the same 80PSI as the F-250 for the AT4. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Here you go! No specific aswers to your pricing questions but lots of details on the BFG AT KO2’s I mounted. I went 285/60R20 up from the OEM Goodyear Territory 275/60R20.

285/60R20 BFG AT KO2’s on my Yukon AT4: fit remarks

I did use the Westcott Designs fender liner pull back bracket to ensure no rubbing. The only draw-back besides a few MPG hit is the ride is a lot stiffer than the OEM tires since the BFG’s are LT tires. If I had to do it all over again, I would. LOVE the way it makes my AT4 look and the performance is outstanding!

Here’s the answer to your PSI question and if you run the same size tires as I went with, you’ll be GTG at 45 PSI:

Unless you are going to be towing some heavy equipment, I do not believe that you 'need' higher weight specification tires. As mentioned above, that tire will run harsher, particularly when not under a towing situation or hauling heavy interior cargo.

TrueAt1stLight. Thank you for the response and the photos of yours. It looks really good! Joseph. Thank you for the insight especially about the ride conditions. No I will not be pulling anything like I do with my F-250 and would like to maintain a good ride, and the tires are cheaper, so I think I am going that route. I will post pics when the new shoes arrive.

If you're not taking the AT4 on any off-road terrain, and not hauling anything significant, than yes, the "passenger" rated tire will be just fine. You don't really need the LT (load E) tires if you're only running pavement. If you go with the 285/55R20 (114T) then you'll get that aggressive look, 3mm less of tread rubber, and 10lbs lighter at each corner.
I would suggest taking a look at the NITTO Ridge Grapplers, almost positive they too have a non-LT tire that will fit your needs, and IMO, looks and rides better than TOYO.

As others have said unless you're towing a heavy load all the time stick with the passenger rated tire. I had E Load Rated tires on my Denali and they rode like $#!t. I went down to an XL rated tire instead.

Thank you guys for input. I went with the Toyo Open Country AT III 285/55/20 in the 114T passenger. They look great!! It was dark when I picked up the truck but will post tomorrow. Such a small increase in width changed the whole look. I talked to the shop about lifts and he is getting me a quote tomorrow for a 2"+ leveling kit for the magneride version. I might be adding that as well. I looked at the Rough Country online. I have seen some on here and they look awesome.
