Hey everyone I have a 2007 Yukon Denali. I noticed the 08+ has a different style cluster and also has some other settings on the display screen. Can I swap one in my 07 and have the same settings?

Yes.
The only cluster that’s actually different is the Escalades which you got to take the Escalade wiring harness and splice into our wires

I did think about doing the swap to the Escalade cluster but not sure what I would do about the bezel situation. As far as I know the bezel won't swap over to the Yukon.

overall design varies on some clusters like the notches/markings, for instance the ppv cluster has different markings and shows speed to 140 and the hybrid shows battery economy, etc
but you will not "gain" anything that your trim level does not already have, even if you swapped one in without programming it to the vin it may show some things from the trim level it came out of but they won't do anything.....
once it is programmed to your vin it will do the exact same thing your existing cluster does
if you want more features you have to add them, say like power fold mirrors, etc
if you just want a different look that's what you get
I could be mistaken but I don't think they "added" any features that could be performed specifically thru the cluster from 07 to 08 or any other year
the ppv's didn't come with a dic switch but the connector is there and the switch can be added giving the ppv access to settings that "already existed" but just needed the switch to make it happen.

There used to be a guy who made them but that was years ago. Basically with the Escalade bezel and your Tahoe/yukon bezel and cut them both in half and sister them together

Thank you for the info. I know the 08+ displayed the compass and temp on the cluster. I believe there are a few other things as well. So if I get an 08+ cluster would I not have those being displayed on my 07?

that is territory I do not know, the clusters should all be capable of displaying the same info.
I would think "maybe" a sps calibration update would include the compass, etc but just guessing.
clusters are generally not expensive so just trying to do a sps update alone would not be worth it unless you already have the tools to do it.
if the later year cluster shows that data, then simply learning it to your vin wouldn't (shouldn't) delete it.
but things like "side blind zone" would not be there if you do not have it. that is the whole reason a "vin learn" is done when various modules are used across the platform
