Evening.

TLDR: I have power at the motor harness on the old module, 11v to ground on both sides, and the window will not work. Neither the old motor nor the new. And no power at the harness with the new module.

Driver window failed. Lowered window, kept truck running while I mounted a couple of kayaks to the roof. Went to raise window. Nothing. Assumed window motor, would be the third one this year, first two were the rear motors. Ordered new motor. No mas. Assumed module. Installed new module. All other functions work, other windows, locks, mirrors adjust and fold, driver window still will not go up. Finally tested for power at the motor harness. Nothing. Any ideas or suggestions how I track down this failure?

Update.
So far no broken wiring. Tested all wires that run from the main harness, the one that runs the motor, to the fuse box for continuity. All passed. Interestingly, when I plug the old module in I have 11v on both legs of the harness that plugs into the motor. When I plug the new module in I have 0v on both those legs.

Check your driver window up and down switch.
I’ve cleaned the contacts. Is there another way to test? I’ve metered the connector at the motor while activating the switch on both modules. No change on either of them.

If you found the signal wire from switch to the motor, and put a volt meter on it while you press the switch. No voltage either up or down on the switch to the motor. I would assume either your switch is bad and needs to be replaced. Or the entire switch panel has a short on the drivers window switch and needs to be replaced. I don’t think they are expensive and are easy to replace.
