I own a 2023 Yukon slt with a 5.3 liter engine and when the pavement is wet the rear wheels spin like crazy and it doesn’t matter how slow I take off. Does anyone else have this experience?

Not I. How many miles on the tires? What is the climate you are operating in? I'm wondering if the rubber compound has hardened with age and miles?

It doesn't matter how many miles are on your tires, you have crappy stock tires. Change them to a much more preferable tire like Michelin or Pirelli's, and you will find this will solve 80% of your problem.

I do not disagree with Stbentoak but I think if we all knew how many miles and climate you are in that would help.
Factory tires are not the same as aftermarket, even if they are the same “brand” so new tires may be on your event horizon.
Michelin are really great tires or for a more “rugged” look, go with BFG KO3 or Nitto Grapplers.

Nope, not in my '23 with the 6.2.

Are you the original owner? Could someone have installed a Pedal Monster type of device that increases the throttle response?

Something isn't right, that's for sure.

What air pressure are the tires? Of those are a lot higher or lower than stock, the tires will be easy to spin.
