When I had my window tint fix it ticket reviewed at the highway patrol in the 80’s the hot ticket was to park far away with your windows rolled down. The cop would look out the door to the office and write it off.

Fortunately I hadn’t heard of that and he made me roll my window down to prove I had done it. The lying to the peace officer ticket I avoided was a good outcome & lesson.
