Fortunately it has more weight in the rear than a pickup so that’ll help. I assume it has traction control and possibly grade braking too. How often and what kind of snow will you be driving in? On road, off road etc?

Drive two wheel pickups in snow forever. Tires and weight will get you anywhere unless the snow is 12" or more unplowed. Tahoe should do fine. And positraction is not necessarily a good item in many cases.

I always add 150 lbs of weight to the rear and traveled most anywhere in 2WD We had a mountain road we worked sled down (1/2) mile then drag everyone back up with 4 wheelers Our first test before shedding was to see how far we could get before engaging 4WD Running BF Goodrich Mud Terrains didn’t hurt

I live in Colorado so it melts but can get nasty. We had week of snow in November. Getting some snow tomorrow. What tires I should buy. Should I get dedicated winter tires and then new rims and summer tires ? Or just get all weather tires ? Any recomendation.

Lots of guys have 2 sets. One reason is they don’t want their good wheels to get exposed to the salt. How much snow are we talking about? Here in Virginia a lot of snow is once or twice getting 3 inches so I can’t relate.
