Thanks 91RS. It appears the car care technology has changed substantially since my last new pickup in 1988. I can remember wax making a mess on plastic body trims and whatnot.

Used your recommendation. Turned out amazing!Used meguiars products for a decade until switching to Griots. Haven’t looked back since..
Griot's Garage 10978 3-in-1 Ceramic Wax 22oz , Green https://a.co/d/07WlII0
I use it once a week, and alternate between washes. After I wash and apply it one week, I only use the Shine Armor and a damp towel to wipe it off the following week. With the outdoor elements to consider (dust, pollen, bird & insect droppings, leaf blower debris, etc) it holds up pretty well during the week. How often are you having to reapply shine armor? It performed poorly in this comparison series (failed at 30 days) but could have been a bad batch maybe?
I LOVE TURTLE WAX HYBRID CERAMIC SPRAY COATING, EASY TO APPLY AND BEADS LIKE CRAZYI was wondering, how long should I wait to wax my new 2022 Yukon in Satin Steel Metallic. It was born on 3-31-22. I thought I might use Mcguire's NXT Techwax. Any thoughts?

What mud guards do you have?Used your recommendation. Turned out amazing! View attachment 374069
Husky Liner Mud Guards. I have the X-act liners as well and love them. Worlds better than the Weathertech's I had with my last vehicle.
