Left & Right work. Replaced the center (3rd) bad one with new...and IT doesn't work either. Ideas?

Do you have 12 volts at the connector for the 3rd light, when you step on the brakes? If not, first check the wiring visible when you have the trunk lid open. IMO, that is where you might find the source of your issue, perhaps a broken wire from the continued opening and closing of the trunk lid.
What year, and have you checked the fuse for the CHMSL?

I see it on the diagram in the manual. Will look in the daylight.
MORNING UPDATE: YOU GOT IT !!!! It WAS the fuse. Thanx THIS is why I appreciate this site !!
