Good question. I was hoping it was residual. Looks too clean though. Only been on the road for 4 days. We shall see I guess.
residual???? no..... best take it over there on Monday to verify in the meantime take a rag and wipe it all clean and then see how it looks again when they get it up on a lift

Hope it's not the rear main.. I did one on my bmw i6, I took care to line up the bottom of the rear seal cover, so it was flush with bottom of the block. I think I screwed up, it should have stayed centered on crank and any oilpan misalignment would probably be taken up by the gasket plus dab of silicone on the corners. That one drips a little. That crank also had a groove worn into it from the original seal..122k miles, I was surprised by the groove..

tightened (squeezed) my passenger mirror defroster wire connectors. They were still connected, but rather loose. (thanks for the suggestion @Tonyrodz!)

I think it happened from the old mirror flying off when I removed it.

nothing worse than having to go back to the shop. I dread dealing with people.
