Anyone know how this piece comes off? Just pry it off with a plastic trim removal tool or attached from the inside?

I would think it pops in with studs and clips. Climb under and take a look or reach in there with your phone and take a picture. Why are you removing it?

Need that gloss black look to flow with the gloss black Denali grill. Going to try to wrap it and if not proper, will be painted.

Nice! The more I think about it the more I lean toward it being held on with double side tape. Like the body side molding. A little heat and fishing wire should do the job.

There is a few clips in there and the other sections are tabs.

Go on gmpartsdirect.com and find the bumper parts. It should tell you how that goes on (by virtue of showing clips associated with it, or by showing tabs on the back, etc.).

I remember that the chrome strip on my '09 LTZ's bumper was essentially integrated into the bumper (and you couldn't just buy the strip and add it to your non-LTZ bumper). No idea how these strips attach to our Yukons.

It is held on with clips. Haven’t tried to remove it, though.
