Battled some fueling challenges due to the pellets in the vapor canister. My buddy's shop replaced that for me. We watched it dump pellets before we launched it into the trash.
Ran well for a few months then acted up again. A couple times, especially after cold starts in the mornings, I would slow up to a stop sign, the engine would surge up, back to idle, surge and die. After it was warm (maybe totally unrelated) it would cooperate. Then be fine. One day it died at a stoplight on the way to school, near the train tracks and the the horn hate was real. The tighten gas cap light came on. I had to put it in park, start the truck again and it would work.
I was leaving town, so I called my buddy. He had the part in 30 minutes at his shop and popped it in for me no charge.
Changed out the ACDelco 214-1680 Vapor Canister Purge Valve under the hood and working good again.
