I just had to cancel my Hotchkiss order because they keep extended their time frames. First is was 3 months, now it's 5 months. Where are you finding Hellwig bars? Worth the price difference to go up to the Hellwigs?
The best deal I could find was from JBTools on Amazon because I had a big Amazon gift card refund to spend. In my specific experience the Hellwig feels much better and I believe it to be a stiffer bar as well compared to the Hotchkis. I had a weak customer service experience and had the wrong hardware shipped with the Hotchkis which is why I jumped to the Hellwig and it has worked without issue in the same driving environment. The Hellwig bar did come with a sharp edge right where one of the bushings would sit so I sanded it smooth to ensure it wouldn't eat the bushing and this is a non-issue to me but only because the area will be hidden inside the bushing AND will be covered in grease so it won't rust... The Hotchkis had a nicer attention to detail as far as the bar goes it was clearly sanded smooth before powdercoat but then they missed the detail of including the right hardware and then customer service that wouldn't send the right stuff.

I'm still salty if you can't tell but bar vs bar I think the Hellwig would fit most people better as it seems stiffer and that's great for the road. I still have the Hotchkis rear bar and no plans to change it unless the bushing problem appears again.

I'm a little salty about being lead on and on for 3 months, lol. There is something like a $3-400 price increase between the Hotchkis and Hellwigs...I don't know if I am THAT salty. Part of me wants to just side line the sway bars and upgrade the alternator, or something else.

Obviously there is the added benefit of actually being able to get them at all, but (In your opinion) are the Hellwigs worth such a large increase in price?
I have ran the Hellwig bars for 20+ years, there great and if you have any issue just call them and they will make it right.
really don't know what else to say, the price historically has not been all that much more than anyone else, I guess it depends on where you shop I have seen them listed at pretty ridiculous prices online, Last time I bought some was on Amazon
currently $365 for the front that's a pretty typical price
rear is a a little bit more at $435, don't see any on sale anywhere at the moment but if a deal comes up for % off or something thats when you bite

Do you know if we need the additional spacers and additional longer hardware for the 6spd ? I've heard some guys say it wasn't necessary might just pick one up
