It's time to fix some broken exhaust manifold bolts. I think I'm going to be able to get to most of them. I'm fluent in bolt extraction. The one that has me worried is the rear-most driver's side. I don't think my angle drill can get in there even if I could center it.
Is there a tool or technique to reach that other than pulling the head?

I'm not sure what size your angle drill (motor) is. I used a 90° attachment on my dremel tool, and with a high quality bit, was able to get into a space of about 3"-4" clearance, and successfully extract a broken bolt on my tightly packed Audi...

if you take the wheel and wheel well liner off you get a lot more room to work in through the wheel well. if theres a nub left you can take the manifold off and take the broken bolt out with vise grips. then use studs and nuts for replacement hardware. what i did on a 6.0 some years back.

or, they sell a clamp system that bolts to the head and manifold to hold the rear bolt hole tight.
