We run a fleet of GM vehicles but not after this. BUYER BEWARE!!!
I also run a fleet of vehicles, Ram, Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Mercedes, and GMC trucks, vans, and SUV's. If you think this is isolated to GM, you will soon find out it isn't the vehicle brand, it's the parts suppliers. We were all GM, until the COVID shortage, it was a buy what we could find, there was slim pickings. I have seen major failures in all the manufacturers, transmissions, engines, and it isn't just gasoline, it is also diesel.
All of them have sat for more than 30 days, but you will soon find out the part shortages affect every manufacturer.
I am surprised GM made you jump through hoops, being a fleet customer manufacturers will jump through hoops to keep you happy, they want your continued business.
We are slowly purging out the non-GM vehicles, it's more cost effective to buy parts in bulk, rather than a few here, a few there. Would you like a RAM on it's 3rd Cummins, or maybe a Ford on it's 4th transmission? Pick your poison, I see the repair invoices, the accounting reports. I am not sure what happened in 2018, 2019, time frame, seems that is when the parts manufactuers started turning out less reliable parts.

Very true, and friend of my brother-in-law is a mechanic at Hyundai he said they are replacing engines in vehicles to at least 1-2 a week.
