I've had my Dodge Ram for several years. I never really thought the wheels and tires were right. I'm not big on chrome because chrome don't get you home. The tires always looked down right dinky.

I'm looking at a J20 pickup to rebuild.I don't have any 8 lug wheels so I went to a guys house to buy a set. He also had a set of tires with almost no miles. I rolled one out and it looked like it would fit fine. I had some extra cash just in case. I didn't quite have enough but it was close enough and he wanted to clear room in the garage. I left with a set of wheels, a set of tires and $3 in my wallet.
I had another set of wheels for the Ram I picked up years ago. I never found the right tires though. They were painted black and sat behind the garage for a couple of years. I dug them out to have the new tires mounted on them. Just to deal with details, I decided to clean them up. The technicians at the tire shop ought to be thankful I did. While cleaning the third wheel, I found a snake curled up hibernating. Why yes, I did back up quick! I'm not particularly afraid of snakes, but it surprised me. I found a pile of leaves out of the wind and buried ti to finish the winter hibernation.
I took the wheels to the tire shop and found a set of center caps I've had for a while. They were bought for a Dakota but they worked just fine on these wheels.

Now the truck has proper proportions. These are just big enough without being too big. At full lock and under suspension compression, they will just barely rub.
