Yes. It's the only place that can be leaking fluid.

Not enough to worry about or go through the process of changing it out. Just make sure the differential is full and clean.
Pull the driveshaft and inspect both u-joints for free and easy movement. That mileage range is usually the end life for the pinion end u-joint.

Check for movement of the pinion shaft. As the bearings wear, there will be lateral movement which will cause the seal to eventually fail.
