I have a 2007 GMC Yukon that is making a whining noise… replaced the alternator, water pump, etc.. nothing solved the issue. Took off the serpentine belt and noise persist, the noise also grows louder when rpms are increased, any and all pointers would help.

It’s a whine not a belt squeal? Is the noise from the top or bottom, front or back? It may be a vacuum leak. With no belt, which I wouldn’t recommend, the tensioner shouldn’t be involved but check them out.
Did you remove the A/C belt, too?

If you left the AC belt on it can be the ac compressor, mine is making a whining noise. Specially when it's cold it. I took a mechanic stethoscope and found it it's the ac compressor. Most likely the bearing on the clutch
did not remove the ac belt at all
i’ll take a look at it tomorrow, thanks for the pointer!
seems to mainly be in the front and closer to the left side more than anything, will look into removing the ac compressor belt tomorrow.
