Any pending codes that have not triggered the CEL?
Same boat and nobody seems to know the answer. I bought the "correct" $100 key fob and took it to the dealer and they couldn't get it to work. There are 2 different key fobs of that era but nobody can tell me the part number on the remotes that come with that now discontinued remote start kit

there is nothing necessarily in the dash that would prevent autostart from working unless you swapped a 4wd switch or the ignition switch has issue's, and nobody knows what "autoplay" is, you are using some term nobody has heard of.
that being said my best guess is it is not enabled in the bcm, perhaps try a used bcm that has a stock programming for the vin, they are not expensive and you can keep your ppv bcm if you ever want to just put back in.
Other than that there is checklist of items that would prevent autostart from working ranging from a-z (not related to PPV)
the BCM is what gives the "ok" when it is all said and done. hence if the feature is not programmed into the PPV BCM it's not going to work period.
