Can someone please tell me what the noise is? It may be hard to hear but few days ago check engine started flashing. Put my reader to it and it says cylinder five was misfiring check the plug out and it hardly had any rubber boot so I thought maybe that could’ve been the problem so I got new plugs and wires on all 8 continues now and now I have more codes that came up one was throttlebody actuator, and another was mass airflow

scan the truck post back the codes you have.

flashing cel means one of two things almost always, you need a tune up super bad, you just did one, so cross that off, or the cats are clogged up. that would cause you to have no power and back pressure blowing out what sounds like a exhaust leak to me. but it could just be the cats are so thats the sound its making. bad cats also cause misfires.

if you have a laser temp thing, check the temp pre cat, and post cat, if the cat and pre cat pipes are on fire and post is not, cats for sure.

I thought cats man and Im just glad you think the noise is the same. Cause I can, especially here it underneath the driver seat. So what gdo you recommend I do to the cat? Replace it? Or say I don’t have the money to replace it what are my other options?

drive it some what hard, that will get the temps up pretty good if the cats are clogged up, if you do that at night the cats will normally glow red.

best to replace them. high flow cats are way cheaper but you'd need a tune to delete the rear o2 sensors, or put the o2 into some antifoulers to pull them out of the exhaust pipe in a effort to trick the sensors into reading right.
