Thanks man! I feel lucky to have found it. I literally looked for 3 years for a low mileage LT, and they're unobtanium. I only saw 3 come on the market in that time, and they all sold within a few days. The LS trim level ones are more common and come up for sale fairly frequently.
They're actually factory option GM wheels for both the 2500 and 3500 SRW pickups, so I'm sure the weight rating will be appropriate for the Suburban 3500.
I’ve had these before, the Toyo OpenCounty are much better on the highway and the BFG KO3s are light years ahead. I’m running the KO2 on my Toyota (2rd set) and KO3s on my Burb.
The KO3 was on my list but I had a set of original KO’s on an old Isuzu Rodeo for a long time and they were brutal. All the same, I was willing to give the KO3 a try but they don’t seem to have them in the 265/65/18 size at discount tire - only the KO2, which seems odd. Anyway, that’s why I was looking at the Falken.
I will also say, I had the previous AT3 (?) Faulkens so there is likely a big difference. I have no experience with the original KOs but the KO3s are leaps and bounds better than the KO2s (both my trucks have E rated tires too). Def looking forward to a review and if we meet up it will be KO3s vs AT4s at the beach! Haha
Thank you for this insight. I'll keep looking around to see if I can find KO3's in the size I need. I have some time because I won't be able to get to any tire shop until the first few days of March.
If I do end up going with the Falkens, this would make for a great YT video! The guys over on the Suburban/Yukon 2500 FB groups would be thrilled to see a couple of 3500's hooning around on the beach.
