Has anybody installed an Ox Locker in an 07-14 Tahoe, or other GMT900 model, with 3.42 gears? I have researched it a bit and was told at some point that the diff housing has a unique shape, especially in the 'classic' models, that doesn't allow for this locker, or makes install very difficult?

Any info on this matter is appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you called the manufacturer? Looks like they are in Florida.

The website just differentiates between 28 spline (older 10 bolt axle) and 30 spline. Doesn't mention anything else.

I don't have any experience with OX Lockers, but have always thought they are cool. I wish they made them on the GM 14 bolt. Not sure why don't make that model because that's a super popular axle with the off road crowd. That's not here nor there tho.

Please keep us updated on what you go with.

I have not. I will look into that.

Yes, from all my research, I really like the concept of the Ox over all the rest - and I prefer the idea of the manual lever option as opposed to the E or Air version. (Pretty sure they offer all 3 now).

Turn it on/off when you choose, no E or Air to ever fail at the worst time.

I have read that the manual lever cable needs to be adjusted from time to time, but that's something you could do on the trail in a pinch, I believe, and if all else fails, you have the option of manually screwing a bolt into the diff to activate the locker in a worst case scenario.

Love it, but it's $$$ and I'm still unsure if they can be installed on my 07 Classic diff. I'll try and contact them and update here.
