I have been searching for months to find the Eescalade roof racks to fit a Suburban. Not many of them on eBay, & very scarce on craigslist. So after a bad experience with trying to but a set off a guy on CL i decided to just see what it would actually take to pick up the whole set up from gmpartsdirect.com The guy I met with from CL told me the set was complete and when I met him it was missing 3 of the 4 end caps, 1 crossbar and none of the middle mounting brackets or the end cap mounting brackets. He wanted $300 for it all and I told him to kick rocks.
The end caps and hardware is same for the suburban and the tahoe from what I can see the main difference is the length of the rails. Part numbers for the rails is differnent for the Tahoe length vehicles.
Priced out on GMpartsdirect the whole thing is $489. Considering the only auction on ebay to sell in the last 4 months sold used for $405, with shipping, with minor scratches, $489 new isn't to bad.
I went straight to the dealership got a schematic and parts list. Now, I have not ordered all the parts yet but this is the complete list of what they tell me I would need. The parts guy told me that some of these part numbers come with multiple parts but after I looked up the price I am wondering if I would have to order 2 sets of roof rails and 4 of the middle plates......although he said the rails are only sold in pairs and to look at the description on the parts list.
