When I installed my Corvette Servo on my 04 Tahoe 5.3 I noticed like many of the videos I’ve watched some had more room then others. Some didn’t have to take apart very single little mechanized layer to finally have enough room to get the stinger out. Yes sadly I lost my cool and now there a large dent/hole on the inside of my frame BUT I got it out most videos on YouTube explain that very well, other then spending g way to much time picking the servo apart layer by layer and finally wiggling the original one out I had to take the other one apart not as much but a little it’s pretty easy, where I did get caught up was setting the new servo stinging in its correct hole so make sure it’s not getting caught on a ledge on the inside if it isn’t way in there it isn’t in there NaMeen when it’s seated it will stick way in the back there you may have to get a little rough… then make sure you don’t DAMAGE THE HOUSING around the servo piston, I didn’t have the lock ring on all the way the first time. Limped midnight home and reefed on the top of the servo to force it down enough for the ring to do its thang and I cracked the housing (no big deal) got the piston set down there good and I have the ring all the way down…I take off and climb to 60 like it never has…. Then because I damaged the housing the ring popped off the top taking a huge chunk of the transmission housing with it.. 4L60E donzo I have a Jeggz performance on the way but yeah watch out for that stick
