Is the Denali Hands Down the Best Tow Vehicle?

    Window Regulators that dont suck

Recently replaced driver rear window regulator. Now the window rattles. Due to the front back play/rocking motion on the track and saddle. What regulator brands are good, dont cause window rattling, and don't grenade themself after a year?

03 Denali new on the scene

Welcome to the forum, thats a great color. Denalis themselves will lead to higher maintenance cost compared to Tahoes and lower trim model Yukons simply due to AWD and more electronic features of the vehicle. For me, this added cost was worth it for the big motor, creature comforts, and...

Thinking of purchasing an older ESV.

Your best bet may be coming to the lower 48 to find something, not that AK is impossible, but it may take a while

In general, the AWD system will be more expensive to maintain would be my guess.

Got the dreaded P0455 code... again..,

I didn't realize the pressure sensor was a part of the pump assembly. And if you replaced purge and vent solenoids, all that's left is the canister. Hopefully you solved it. My search continues, P0446 popped up on the way to the in-laws for Thanksgiving.

Got the dreaded P0455 code... again..,

From what I've seen the pressure sensor is on the exterior near the lock collar. Quite possible the vent solenoid could solve the problem. Also, the pressure sensor could be on the 03-06 models only, but don't take my word as gospel.

Check enginel light and “reduced power” on the DIC came on

The Accelerator pedal position sensor fixed my problem also. It was fairly easy, I found the correct torx, T10 or T15, bit and used a 1/4 open box wrench to remove and install. If that didn't work next would be the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module near the driver side firewall area.

    Power steering pump

Agreed OEM for the P/S pump. Check the bottom side of the water pump for the weep hole, possibly where your leak is.

Got the dreaded P0455 code... again..,

I have done this same thing on my 2004. I did not drop the tank however, I have not replace the canister (yet). I have heard that the tank pressure sensor could also trip this code. The PITA of this is you have to drop the tank again. I'm torn between dropping the tank for the sensor or...

For fun... How many miles on your Yukon

165k, owned it for a year. Good truck but has been neglected. Lots of minor issues, no major ones, yet. It's coming together, slowly. Having a daughter under 2 and another child on the way leaves little free time to sort things out. But, slowly, I'll get it sorted out.

Factory Service Manuals - Anyone have them?

I have the 5 book Helm set for my 2002. They are worth it to me, especially for my duramax where diagnostics is just as expensive as parts. I have kept an eye out for the Denali on Ebay due to the fact that they are $500 new from helm. They factory service manual covers ever model and trim and...
