    2015 XL Denali - Junk?

The people posting on forums are a very small amount of the actual owner pool. When I brought mine in for service (oil change), there was not a parking lot full of broke down 15 yukons. You Should keep your Denali order. Pick it up and enjoy it like most owners are. As for the OP, I hope they...

    2015 escalade wheels.

Those might have been the two facing away from the street. If you know what I mean.:naughty: It seems strange he only had two. Our local Cadillac dealer had fourty vehicles wheels and tires ripped off. This dealer is right off our main drag that is heavily traveled even at night.

    leaking interior

Dude, I put roof racks on mine and yes there was additional wind noise. Take them off until you need them, problem goes away. If you use them and put a kayak up there, you will have wind noise. Power down noise, that is weird. GM replaced yours with new one. That's not a bad deal. Sorry you...

20 or 22 inch wheels for the Denali?

This is the same rim we ordered with ours. Love the full chrome on our red 15 Yukon. If you are doing the chrome thing, the full chrome wheels look awesome from all angles. Living in Texas we don't need to swap rims, so we get to enjoy all year long.

22" Wheels ride quality? Gas Mileage?

13's on a Full Size SUV, awesome, you do that. Factory approved wheel and tire combos have very little effect on performance but noticeable difference in ride quality. Over analyzing an issue to the point of comparing a street wheel tire combo to formula one racing is ludicrous (not the rapper...

22" Wheels ride quality? Gas Mileage?

The weight in this case is probably negligible. I haven't weighed them, but the net increase cant be very much when you are talking aluminum wheels. Now if we are talking about jumping up to something like 37" tall tires, yea, I can see it. But in this case, if the few lbs difference per wheel...

22" Wheels ride quality? Gas Mileage?

Acceleration, Braking Distances, Mileage are all results of overall wheel/ tire diameter increase. If the overall diameter of the wheel tire combo stays the same none of these areas are changed from stock. That's why the lower sidewall when running 22's. The lower side wall height will ride...

Buying Yukon SLT..a few more questions please..>

On the 4wd. The SLT has 2 options. 1. A single speed transfer case that only does 4 high. 2. A 2 speed transfer case the does 4hi and 4lo. I do not believe the heavy duty tow package is available with the single speed 4wd system. So if you are towing stuff, be sure to get the two speed...

    Need advice/insights please..buying a 2015 Tahoe or Yukon..

The SLT is just packaged much better. I did your same exercise and was really not able to build the LT like the SLT. GMC is really trying to set itself apart from Chevy as a more upscale brand. I think it is a better comparison between the SLT and the LTZ. The LTZ having magnetic ride control...

    Denali Grill

I think it looks much better. It actually rides better and has more power since it thinks its a Denali. :waytogo:

    Denali Grill

Well I figured it out. Pay the dealer $100 and enjoy your new grill.

    Denali Grill

Well I was wrong. The grill came in from GMParts direct and its a beautiful piece for 342 bucks. My first attempt at the install was a fail. The front bumper has to come off. After removing fists full of screws and clips I could not get it to budge so I buttoned it back up till I can find a...

Can't decide between a LTZ and and Denali

Other than the magnetic ride, I thought it was a closer comparison of the LTZ to the SLT. Same engine, same interior features. We picked up our loaded Yukon SLT cheaper than an LTZ.

    Newbie... Picking up 2015 Yukon

I purchased the minimum amount of time required by onstar to use the app. Seems like it was 4$. The app is handy especially since I don't carry my fob. So if the wife is not around and I need to get in I can. I also use it to track oil life so she doesn't have to. The nav feature is...

    Denali Grill

I purchased mine from GMpartsdirect and it is due here on Monday. I will be installing it myself so I will update the forum with pics and problems. From what I see initially, It looks like it is held in at the top that is easy to get to and two clips on the bottom and will not require removal...

    Cargo Cover

We received our cargo cover and I have noticed a trend. All the accessories for the Cocoa Dune color scheme come as dark brown. The all weather floor mats and the cargo cover were both dark brown. I am not sure if I like it. Has anyone else seen the lighter color in these accessories.

    Denali Grill

I just ordered mine today from GM Parts Direct. My dealer told me $1000.00 so this $342 price makes me nervous. The only reason I pulled the trigger was the info in this thread.

    Owners manual case?

I agree, "TACKEY". I have one from an older truck that I slipped it in. I was not happy with the plastic bag either. I keep my manuals in my vehicles so a nice pouch would be appreciated, especially, as other people have stated, on GMC's highest cost vehicle.

    Your towing pictures

Conversion is now two years old with no problems. It is really a straight forward process mainly because the main wiring harnesses are the same between the gas and the diesels. It is almost, but not really, plug and play.

    Duramax, Seriously

Starting to look at 2500 Series 4X4 Diesel

Converting to the duramax is not bad. I did it and love it. 2003 and up can use the 2007 LBZ Dmax because the wiring works. 2000 to 2002 has to use the first gen LB7 Dmax. If you want a pulling full size SUV this is a reasonable route to take. First off the gasser 3/4 tons are going...
