Don't know if this happened at a car wash or what, but going down the road the other day heard a slapping sound. Once I got to looking around, I found that the black trim piece on the rear door behind the window was partially detached! I looked at the other rear door and noticed the same thing...
Just stop at your last question...
Get the Denali for the 6.2 and 8 speed. I would have bought a chevy but I wanted these and the $$ aren't that different when compared to a LTZ. Also has all of the goodies in the base offering.
Saw this yesterday and couldn't believe how poorly this was executed. These trim pieces are either a bad batch or just plain designed too short. Has anyone complained about this and gotten it fixed?
Dealer just took delivery of the Denali I ordered yesterday and while checking the truck out I noticed the forward facing sensors/camera mounted to the windshield just hanging there. I assume this is merely glued onto the windshield but was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue and what...
Don't mean to jack your thread but I just looked at the Denali I ordered which delivered to the dealer today and noticed how poorly the overlap looked on how the two chrome strip pieces fit together on the running boards. I search for comments on this forum but didn't find any.
Also noticed...
I was wondering if they were working more days because during a chat online with GM they told me my actual build update in the computer system to "build complete" was 6/6, a Saturday.
Looks like build time from order is one month now as my vehicle was built either 6/8 or 6/9 with a VIN in the 711xxx sequence. Hopefully most of the kinks are worked out with the newer builds after all the different issues I've read about in this forum.
Im not sure you can neccessarily compare an older 6.2, with the EcoTec3 L86 version with AFM and other improvements. I've seen many on here post decent milage figures on the newer setup.
I was in this quandary as well. Once you option a SLT reasonably you can buy the Denali with no options, get much more as standard features, and only end up paying well less than ten percent more. I do think a stripper Denali will hold it's cost differential at trade or resale as long as it's...
Thanks for the feedback; I kinda figured this was the case and they waited until the beginning of May to order (or they just screwed it up). Not fully clear on the allocation thing and if it a month to month refresh.
Can anyone tell me how much info comes with these courtesy emails from GM...
Is this information from the weekly email update? I just subscribed to that service and have yet to see an email so I'm curious to find out what they actually divulge.
I made a deal around 4/15 for a Denali and during the chat I had on the web with GM they told me it had an order accepted...
