Consumer reports rates 2022 Yukon 2/100 in Reliability
My 2021 Tahoe Z71 has been in the shop twice for lifter failure. First time they replaced all the lifters. This time they are doing it again along with the cam shaft. Beware. CR might have it right on this one.- RobFog

Our dealership replaced all lifters when 2 failed in 7/21 with 4k miles on our Z71 Tahoe. 1/1/22 we had another lifter fail and it damaged the cam shaft this time. Which I had better news for you.- RobFog

2nd time Lifter Failure... 2021 Yukon AT4
This is what happened to our 2021 Z71 this time around. 7/21 2 lifters went out. They replaced all lifters. This past Saturday another lifter went out and it damaged the cam shaft too. Definitely a design flaw in the engine.- RobFog

We had 2 lifters go out in July at 3k miles. They replaced all 16. Now 6 months later we are having the same issue.- RobFog

2021 Z71 traction control failure
GMC please help. Our Z71 Tahoe is going thru the same thing again. Traction stability system failure, check engine light, won’t accelerate. Engine knocking, etc. 6 months ago we went thru this and the dealer replaced all the lifters. Not just the two that were blown. This is a know issue. This...- RobFog
