Update: I got the 4" tube and MAF sensor mount welded up and installed. I attached photos of the various steps. After all was installed there was a few noticable differences. First off I noticed a lower RpM at a warm engine idle. 2nd I noticed a quieter engine at idle. 3rd after test drive I...
I am also a member of the old fart club and completely get your point thompsoj22. CAI is also a concern and a partial motivation for putting the OEM performance intake on. I had a CAI legal AIRRAID intake with the emission sticker on it. Sometime during the year, the sticker fell off and the...
UPDATE: Here's a possible solution to my problem of getting a GM PERFORMANCE INTAKE that wasnt meant for a 2013 Tahoe 5.3.
The main problem was the MAF sensor mount location or lack there of. On the GM PERFORMANCE INTAKE I got, there wasnt a place to mount the MAF SENOR. Well easy enough...
Got a great deal ($50) on a GM PERFORMANCE OEM COLD AIR INTAKE part #17800809. I want to put it on my 2013 Tahoe but my make isnt on the fit list. Has anyone here successfully made this kit work for newer models. I currently have a AIRRAID kit on but really like the Aluminum intake box on the...
Try burlwood vinyl wrap. I found a denali cup holder for my 2013 tahoe but it was pretty scratched up. I got a roll of dark burlwood vinyl wrap from ebay and wrapped the cup holder. My existing wood trim does not match exactly to the wrap but I like the color more on the vinyl wrap themy my...
Depending on what you carry (single stack or double stack mags) if thin enough it would fit in betweenew the seat and center counsel. I carry a S&W M&P sub compact single stack and it fits good in between the seat and counsel and in a holster. But check out these magnet pistol holders.
I recently changed my door panels on my 13 tahoe and I had alot of weird electrical issues soon after. Driver door pull grab broke so I found 07 escalade driver door. I had to get the passenger too so the fronts would at least match. I used the existing escalade switches in the panels and...
I finally got the coil bags and belltech lowered shocks in. I test drove it and it was a considerable difference. Anyone who ever went from stock wheels and tires to 24" and up knows that there is considerable difference in the way the ride feels. While test driving it felt like my stocks were...
I've always been into lowered rides and through experience I now have both 22's and 24's. I call the 22's MY BABY'S WINTER SHOES. I also in California (central valley) and roads get slick with weather. But once it heats up. We throw on the summer sandals (24's) I feel more comfortable traveling...
I did some research and found a company WWW.ALABAMALEDS.COM that sat they can custom make a led strip in whatever color and length. I emailed them with a request for a strip that has 46 white led's exactly 1 inch apart 12v for a vehicle. The process seems pretty simple, open the 3rd brake light...
Ok thanks for info, I contacted vegasf6 and hope he gets back to me. I live in California and asked if I could be done in a weekend so I could drive to vegas (and do some gambling).
How did you stop the tires rubbing the wheel well plastic? I got a 2013 tahoe lowered 2" in the front and 3" in the back on 24x10 rims with 35 series tires
It was kind of pain to get the Escalade applique to work for me. The wife backed out of the garage with lift gate open and ripped off the original applique. I got it to go back on but it was all scratched up. Then I found this Escalade chrome one with the back up camera. I was planning to paint...
from the pic it looks all the led's from left to right on the 3rd brake light are lit up. if so, how did you get the Oem light to do that? I got a 07 Escalade 3rd brake light on my 2013 tahoe and it only has like 5-7 inches of led's that light up in the middle.
I don't know if the bags you got are like these or if you have the firestone bags type. I wanted the firestone type but the lowering guy I talked to said these worked good in past installs.
