I can tell you how it works. When you turn the key on, it checks for signals and gets a reading. Im not sure how it determines which wheel is which, but a tpms reset tool can read the pressure, so whatever signal is being sent prob has code for both the pressure and an ID for what ever... -

Use a water hose to find a vacuum leak, small stream that you can aim and pinpoint a leak. If the engine stumbles, stop the flow, let the water drain off a bit and start the flow again where you just were. You have just found your vac leak. Leave it running a little while after wetting it...- tt54l32v

Battery issue
Battery had a short in it, ran into it the other day. That battery had about 100 more cold cranking amps than it was rated for. So I cleaned all the connections and tried a couple of times in a row and sure enough it got weaker and weaker and after 3-4 tries it wouldnt crank the engine. Let it...- tt54l32v

No dice on bypassing it at the source. The only way I see to do it would be to build a radio transceiver and program to it run the way the system is designed. Or turn it off with a programmer. -
