    Transmission!!!

I just had my 6 speed rebuilt in my 18 premier to the tune of $4500. Heat is the killer of these transmissions. The torque converter goes bad and destroys the transmission. Just be sure to install a lower temp thermostat, like what superior offers, to keep the temps down.

Replaced my transmission thermostat with a lower temp thermostat

I have an 18 Premier and didn't need anything other than what was supplied in the kit.

Thinking of getting a 2017-2022 Tahoe or Yukon. Should I be concerned about the possible suspension repair cost in the Premiere or the Denali?

I have 95k miles on my 18 premier and had to replace the front shocks. Ended up going with Arnott. Price was $500 a piece.

Just rebuilt mine at 95k on my 18 Tahoe. Make sure you install the thermostat bypass as heat is your enemy.

    2011 Tahoe/Wife says that I need a new vehicle..

I just had the 6 speed trans rebuilt on my 18 Tahoe at 95k. Had fluid changed twice. From what I heard; the torque converter gives destroying the transmission in the process due to heat. I ended up installing a thermostat bypass, but I guess I was too late.
