    10lbs of boost Just installed a manual boost controller. Turned the boost up a bit. Going to retune and hopefully exceed my 8lbs numbers of 660ft-lbs of torque! I'll update my photo. This is from three months ago

    I just went to my local vinyl store and picked up some black perforated vinyl. The kind that you can see through and stuck it on them. Makes them look tinted without actually tinting them

    Guess I pissed sunclitcomet off by offering my two cents on my upgrades to others. Don't understand what possesses people to hate on others. If I wanted to be a "ricer" I would just jump in my Lexus ISF and rip around. But I love my tahoe and my tasteful mods are reliable and great for packing...

    Or drive a lowered, LS powered, blacked out, cammed, tahoe limited with third row...hmm. Suburban or tahoe limited...I choose the ladder. I like to have my cake and eat it too!

    All I can tell you is that I installed a third row out of a 2006 model in my 2000 limited tahoe and I had to make it all work but it is definitely worth it for an 8 passenger beast!

    Just finished the engine swap a few months ago in my 2000 limited. Ls1 engine with a cam, Ls6 intake and Ls6 ported heads. Full custom exhaust with long tube headers and a corvette cold air intake. She's running strong!

    For sure. It's an easy conversion and I utilize the extra seating almost everyday.

    Leg room is good. I based my decision on position knowing that my third row passengers will be my 8 year old daughter and her cousins most of the time. Here's a pic. I'll take another tomorrow with seat folded up. I wanted storage space still also.

    Thanks! If anybody needs/wants parts list, I could photograph my receipt from local hardware store. Was easy and already had my two daughters and there five cousins rolling in the limited. Definitely makes the truck more versatile.

    Haven't seen a thread yet addressing this, but I successfully installed a fully functional three position third row from a 2005ish Tahoe into my obs 2000 Tahoe Limited. Entire conversion including trip to salvage yard took about three hours. I have a receipt from local hardware store itemizing...

    Just picked up a 2000 Tahoe Limited last month. I flew out to Atlanta because I wanted a clean rust free vehicle. I have sinced put tinted front lights, tinted tails, lowered it 3 in the front and 2-1/2 rear and put one size smaller tire to complete the appearance. I love the way the truck looks...

    I have 180,000 miles on her, but only had her a month. I also added the all elusive third row seat from an 06 tahoe making her a true "u" with 8 passenger capability. I picked that particular seat because of the built in seat belts and the fact it has the three flip positions that help with...

    Lol, yeah I used my tahoe to tow it from my shop to my house about two miles away. She was struggling stopping for sure! I really only use it to tow my jet boat you can see in my driveway there.

    I picked up a 2000 tahoe limited too recently. I have similar lights and blacked out tails, but I added the all important third row from a 2005 tahoe. I can comfortably fit 8 people now and the conversion only took me three hours too compete. I'm also lowered a bit and receive more compliments...
