Did you end up replacing the lines? Wondering how it turned out.
Got a 2015 Yukon XL with the rear line leaking and was gonna try the line set replacement out. GMC quoted $2600 to replace it, so for just over $400 I figure it's worth my time and then just have a shop recharge it.
Appreciate the input. Was probably just doing the links as one is completely gone and the other one only half of it is there. Don't know how long they've been like this but been saying for a long time the truck handles pretty poorly in turns and curves.
Gonna pick up a pair soon.
Thanks again
Got a 2015 yukon xl.
Gonna be putting on new sway bar links and was wondering if the truck should be on the ground or on jack stands allowing the suspension to hang?
Was looking around on the internet and seen it done both ways...just wondering which is easier and more correct.
Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone, so my wife snapped one of the rear defroster tabs in half trying to remove an oversized box. The base of the tab is still adhered to the window and the other piece is stuck in the electrical connector.
My question is....instead of removing the old tab off the window and risk...
Ty, yeah I've seen some online reviews of third party warranty companies and I gotta say it looks scary.
Is anyone using a third party company that hasn't experienced a nightmare with when they go to make a claim or have repairs done??
I have a 2015 yukon xl that I bought 3 weeks ago and I have experienced it a few times. I think it has alot to do with the size of the interior of the truck. The roof panel is large...and probably not supported as good as it could be. It's like driving in an old ford econoline van...sounds like...
Hi guys,
Looking for some advice and guidance...
3 weeks ago I purchased a cpo 2015 Yukon xl with 50k miles. I opted to not get the extended warranty at the time but am now considering it for some piece of mind.
First off..Is there a time frame I have to go back and purchase the extended...
Carfax has a clean title, and it was owned in Connecticut. So yeah road salt is a factor. But comparing it to my current truck in NJ that is almost 3 time older has virtually no rust....at least not as advanced as this 3 year old truck.
Thanks for the responses.
I looked at a 2016 today...interior was spotless. Popped the hood and first thing I noticed was the engine block was oxidized and pitted and the headers were completely covered in rust. Taking a look under the vehicle...I see what I feel is pretty substantial rust for...
Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a 2015 or 2016 Yukon XL and have been looking at a few vehicles over the last month.
Being that this is my first GMC, I'm turning to the people that have had them to find out what are some of the common issues, problems and pitfalls that are associsted with...
