Rear Window switch
The rear window switch is accessed through the exterior, but you have to take the trim off your rear door and be careful with the trim fastners when you pop your trim off or else you will be buying some. The two fastners that are hard to get out are the ones where the rear...
Side Mirror Motor
It is the mirror motor. about 60.00 for the motor if you do it yourself. I change my driver's side two years ago. The motor assembly has two 12 volt motors the drive a worm gear assembly with position sensors. These motors look like something out of a model car. Forget trying...
Upgrading Factory alarm
I have been looking at the other aftermarket alarms to integrate with the factory and they are nice, but not as nice as to drop almost a 1G for them.
I was thinking, since the alarm does not go off when the windows are broken and the culprits can drive it away, to...

Anyone ever get the check suspension on the DIC?
I got this message about a year ago and thought of the worst possible scenario, but after reading a few forums and reading factory manuals it was as simple as replacing the 403.00 dollar air compressor for the two rear air shocks.
I went one...
Part 1
My lumbar support recently gave up the ghost. I found the lumbar support system GM uses is made by a manufacturer in Canada. Schukra Systems.
The problem with the lumbar is the right drive motor that actually pushes or compresses a piece of metal to give you the bulge in your back...
Has anyone noticed this or have the same problem? I was changing oil today and was looking underneath the truck and saw the wheel well liner touching my brake line. After awhile the plastic will rub its way through the aluminum line and cause it to get weak, leak or burst. Mine already had a dip...
I am taking some of my posts from the other forum and posting them here. I had a true flow system a while back and found out they went out of business and now the volant power core is in the truck, but here is some picks with the true flow CAI. I really liked it.
