4L60E Deep Pan - Drain and Fill

Hey all, Gonna do a drain and fill of transmission fluid. 2002 Yukon, 4L60E with the deep pan. Never done it on this truck. How much fluid comes out when I just drain from the plug? I don't wanna crack the pan right now. Need to know before I head out and make sure I get enough fluid to do...

    P0301 code - running a bit rough

Hi all, My 2002 Yukon is running a bit poorly these days. It's got 250,000 kms (roughly 155,000 mi) and maintenance history is largely unknown. I've had it for about 15,000 of those kms and haven't done much other than oil changes. Started hesitating under load a couple months ago. Just a bit...

Heating issue - doesn't get hot until at max

Hey all, Got a bit of a problem with my 2002 Yukon. Just noticed that when I had the heater at my usual setting (temp about half-way) the heater was blowing out kinda cold. When I crank the temp setting all the way up, it does blow warm, even kinda hot. It does the same at the back heater...

Want to lower it just a bit - help me choose parts

I'm really trying to achieve 2 inches. 3 inches is ok for me, as I can adjust the front to level out. I think with the above kit and my Nivomat shocks, I should get 2 inches from what I can tell from this other thread...

Want to lower it just a bit - help me choose parts

I thought that kit comes with the 5305 springs. The parts list on the installation instructions seems to suggest so: http://www.belltech.com/extras/docs/BBGC/34324.pdf I do like Tony's prices, but with exchange, duties, taxes and shipping to Canada, I don't think he'd be able to beat my local...

Want to lower it just a bit - help me choose parts

Cool! I'm looking at this kit (BellTech Part # 34324) here: http://www.belltech.com/pro-coil-spring-set-13870.html This should work, right? My parts guys locally can get it in for me at a pretty good price. So I'll pull the trigger later this week. My next question is which shocks in the...

Want to lower it just a bit - help me choose parts

Don't suppose you have a part number, do you? I recall some threads here saying the part numbers changed, but one was way superior to the other. I'm in Canada, so I don't know if I can purchase through @NORCAL SS without big shipping and duty costs attached, so I may have to get them locally...

Want to lower it just a bit - help me choose parts

Alright. So right now, to keep things simple, keep a good ride, and keep costs low, I'm leaning towards this: 2 inch rear springs (possibly a 3 inch with spacers) 4 new shocks (shorter than stock in the back) slight de-crank of front torsion bars (max 1 inch, just to even things out) Looking...

Want to lower it just a bit - help me choose parts

Hello everybody, first post here! But I've done a whole lot of reading here. This site has been a great resource and helped me decide on picking up a decent used Yukon. What I ended up with was a 2002 Yukon with about 150,000 mi, still in reasonably decent shape. I've got to catch up on a fair...
