Where do you get your oil changed?
DIY is the hot ticket. Not worth the cost or the time at the dealer. The local dealer left the filters loose and oil levels wrong 5 times between 2 separate vehicles. I need better reliability than that. Don’t be intimidated by the fuel filter either. Piece of cake.- Texanfisherman

How much trust do you have in the 3.0?
2022 with 30k miles and zero powertrain issues. Cannot say enough good things about our experience with this engine. San Antonio to Orlando and only one fuel stop. 29.5 mpg for the round trip. Change my own oil and filters. Well built and very smooth power. Only wish I could eliminate def.- Texanfisherman

Engine swap
Go to LS1tech.com and you will find more than you need to know. Most of the swap would be direct fit as far as motor mounts, transmission housing to block, etc. Need to verify things like flex plate, harness adapters, trans control module to engine control module connectivity and such.
